Next Steps in Reflection

George Couros names being reflective as one of the 8 characteristics and essential pieces of the Innovator’s Mindset. As the WSD Innovative Teaching and Learning Leaders continue on their own journey of self-reflection using their personal portfolios located on this site, we will continue to work towards embedding reflection into our regular practice to encourage growth and change for ourselves as learners.

Check out this podcast on Bam Radio- Every Classroom Matters as Vicki Davis interviews George Couros on the topic of reflection, entitled “I Taught for Years without Reflecting Until…”.  George Couros discusses how reflection is crucial, the importance of taking time daily to be reflective, and the power of using blogs as a tool for reflection.
